Relational Ministries

Living Hope Relational Ministries reinforces people's connection to their God and builds inter-personal relationships of comfort, encouragement and accountability. It is God's design that people grow together.

In order to encourage this growth, a Relational Ministries Training Curriculum has been developed. It consists of two important components: Orientation seminars and a "Toolbox" of skills.

Orientation seminars introduce specific roles of leadership and service in relational ministry. "Toolbox" skills courses provide focused training in communication and group life.

This toolbox of basic skills is not intended to be a prerequisite for any of the Relational Ministries. Its purpose is to better equip people for any ministry role, whether within the congregation, the family or vocation.

Relational Ministries are intended to be supported by a congregation's foundational Bible studies.

Orientation Seminars
  • Marriage Mentoring
  • Small Bible Studies
  • New Member Mentor Orientation
  • Support Groups
Toolbox of Basic Skills
  • Human Needs & Relationships
  • Attending Skills (non-verbal messaging): Listening and Responding
  • Dynamics Within The Stages of Group Life
  • Managing Conflict: The Art of De-escalation
  • Qualities & Skills For Facilitating a Small Group
  • Confidentiality and Making Referrals
  • Personality Types & The Impact On Behaviors

All courses can be customized to meet your congregation's mission, vision and needs.
